What effect are pornographic images and videos having on the lives of young people? Is porn making us feel different about our bodies and how we relate to each other? Should the government control what we see and where we see it?
Panel members include Zoe Margolis, blogger, writer, author and journalist. Her blog Girl with a One Track Mind, focused on her sex life, and received over eight million visitors.
Tim Lott, past music journalist and a magazine publisher, later working as a magazine editor, TV producer and feature writer before publishing his first book and novels. Regular journalist for the Guardian.
The event will be chaired by Rhiannon Holder from Brook Bristol. She has worked with young people around sexual health for over 10 years. In her role as Bristol Education and Training Manager, Rhiannon supports the delivery of relationships and sex education across Bristol and surrounding areas.
Young Arnolfini member Hannah Chapman and Sociology graduate Ricardo Massiah will also be on the panel.
Inspired by Bristol Festival of Ideas, Young Arnolfini and Salaam Shalom Youth Council have teamed up to curate a unique platform allowing young people to share ideologies and philosophies with a panel of high profile speakers.
