If you are looking to learn new skills, have some spare time on your hands and are 18 and over, we may have a volunteering opportunity for you. We are looking for Visitor Services Volunteers to join our busy team, to support exhibition invigilation and special events.

As a charity, we rely on our supporters. Volunteers are an important part of the work we do. By joining our volunteer programme, you will meet new people, share and gain new skills as well as have fun! Our volunteer opportunities work well for some and offer flexibility and variety of tasks.

Our volunteers are a vital part of the team in supporting the work of Arnolfini. We have a range of exciting opportunities for you to get involved both with the public and behind the scenes. As a volunteer you could:

  • Help us engage our visitors in one of our visitor-facing roles, helping us create an unforgettable experience for our visitors.
  • Support our engagement projects, including workshops and group visits.
  • Gain valuable hands-on experience supporting a vibrant events programme.

We are extremely grateful to our volunteers whose time and effort have brought so much to our visitors. Whatever your background or experience, our Volunteer Programme is open to all.

All you need is enthusiasm and a willingness to get stuck in. An art gallery background is by no means essential. No previous experience is necessary – just friendly faces and a keen interest is all we ask!
